I never thought I'd become a jewelry designer. I couldn't stand the idea of creating something that looked like anyone could have made it, and it seemed to me that there weren't a whole lot of new ideas in the jewelry world. It wasn't until I discovered french flower beading techniques that I felt like I had found my beading niche. I spent a few years creating beautiful life-size beaded flower bouquets for people to put in their homes, then decided that my work was too pretty to be left on a shelf. So I adapted the techniques and invented a few of my own, allowing me to create beautiful, nature-inspired jewelry that is truly "wearable art". My focus is always on balance- in color, shape, and mood. I hope my work inspires people to look more closely at the world around them, and to see beauty in the imperfections of nature.
