Drawing on influences from street art, punk music and the urban landscape Chad Kessler combines laser jet prints, found objects, photography and all forms of media to bring together work that is at once playful and critical of the world around us. Frequently painted on handmade frames or found objects, his work contains tones of satire, serendipity and an underlying hope of improving the human condition. Religion, Love and the absurdity of existence are all major themes in his ever growing body of work.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, it was only after High School that Chad decided to pursue art, having found nothing else gratifying in the way of a normal job. He is entirely self taught, relying on the internet and a library card ,which is constantly racking up late fees, to continue his learning. He works part time as a carpenter and is involved with several music projects around town.
