Born in Egypt and then living in France, Hani moved to Columbus at an early age. After attending The Ohio state University in Fine Arts, Hani moved to New York City to pursue a business career. He did not return to art again until the early 90’s.
Beautiful sensual colors and striking cityscapes highlight Hani’s work. His original style focuses on his love for freedom of style and space and his belief that the expression of art has no boundaries.
Hani loves being part of the Columbus art community and has served on the board of the Ohio Art League. “Being involved on the board has given me a sense of the wonderful art being created in our area. The relationship between art groups, galleries and the public grows every year.
Over the years, Hani has volunteered in introducing children to the art world. Through the Ohio Arts Council sponsored program “Short Roy”, he has partnered with school age children to create original works of art.
“Volunteering for this event has been very fulfilling. “To see the kids faces after creating these works of art is thrilling.
Hani was chosen to be the featured artist for the 2008 Via Colori event. Hani has exhibited widely throughout Central Ohio over the last 16 years in various Gallery Hops, art auctions and featured shows.
