With her artwork, Jill M. Connor evokes a sense of childlike whimsy through the use of bright colors, animals and unique situations. She creates an awareness of free-spiritedness with each individual piece and encourages the viewer to see it as an example of carefree and youthful creativity.

Jill has a BS in Art Education from Miami University and is currently working with the International Brotherhood of Electrical works as a commercial electrician. She believes in the importance of the arts in both our schools and communities and is an active member of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators and Americans for the Arts, an arts advocacy organization.
