Karen Rumora graduated in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University. After 24 years in the field of design, Karen has ventured out to capture nature around us.  In addition to her landscapes, her pet portraits capture and celebrate the happiness and humor of these unpretentious creatures. Karen’s award-winning landscapes and pet portraitures arepart of many private and public collections.

Karen was the featured artist for the 2009 Much Love’s Animal Rescue "Howlywood” Fundraiser in Hollywood, California. She was also selected and happily participates in fundraising for local charities such as CAHS, Ohio Pug Rescue, OhioHealth, Ballet Met and was chosen to be The New Albany Symphony’s Feature Artist for 2009. Karen and her husband Matt live in Baltimore, OH with their two children, and their two rescued dogs.
