Rona Stelzer is a self-taught artist who grew up in Columbus.

"I enjoy using strong colors and textures in my paintings. In my mind, color is the key to arousing the senses, and texture adds the character, just as in life. Being a self-taught artist, I am free to push the boundaries of my art form. Painting is a remedy for the soul for which nothing else can compare. For me, music plays a huge second part of the creative equation. At times the music sets the tone of the painting, and at other times, the painting sets the tone of the music. I feel blessed to have found this inner peace."
