Steve Paine, a native of Columbus, Ohio, received his B.S. and D.D.S. from Case Western Reserve University. He combines his great hand skills with his eye for beauty and balance in his art work. After selling his first piece of art in 1971, he was hooked on woodworking. He makes mezuzahs, jewelry boxes, unusual candle sticks, bowls, wall hangings and even furniture. What’s great is now that he has retired from dentistry, he has time to share these gifts and custom orders with others.
