Teresa Morbitzer graduated from Muskingum College with a degree in art education and has taught art in public schools for over 17 years. She demonstrated jewelry making to her students and quickly fell in love with designing her own unique pieces.

Over the following years she began to incorporate vintage elements into her work and started a jewelry business, known as, Vintage Vamp. Teresa looks for interesting vintage pieces and creates a design inspired from a time past. Because most of her designs include vintage beads, her pieces are one-of-a kind.

All new components are sterling or gold fill and can include Swarovski crystal or other high quality glass beads. As part of her services she takes custom orders for special occasions and can use a client’s own beads.

She sells in central Ohio and has work throughout the United States and Europe. Customers find value in her work due to its vintage appeal and its exclusive style. Today her work can be found in boutiques, galleries and at juried festivals. She lives in Columbus with her husband and two children. Teresa happily continues to divide her time between educating students and creating artisan jewelry with a vintage twist in her German Village studio.
